Tournaments

Table Rock Lake was noted as one of the Top 10 Bass Getaways by Bassmaster Magazine.  The James River Arm of Table Rock Lake is a prime bass fishing area.  That is why many tournaments are held here.

Burrrrrrr Freeze Out Buddy Tournament: on February 18th, 2012. This is Cape Fair Marina's NEW tournament. Entry fee is $40 per team or per boat; one person can fish as a team. Big bass is by choice with a $10 entry per team. This is a 100% payback for every 4 boats entered up to 10 places. This will be a THREE (3) fish limit for the biggest stringer weight consisting of black bass, kentucky's, brown bass, and mean mouths. Take off will be 7:00am and weigh in will be at 2:00pm. Teams must have their chips in the bucket prior to weigh in time or they cannot weigh their fish (no exceptions). Rules will be passed out at sign up. Tournament will be held under all weather conditions. They only way it will be cancelled is if the road conditions are bad with snow or ice as to be unsafe to travel to the launch area or future forecast would predict that the road would become dangerous during or after the tournament.
